Operational Principle:
Wet materials are fed continuously from the feeder onto the first layer of the upper drying plate. The rake arm with rake blades rotates to ensure continuous material turning. The materials travel across the drying tray in an exponential spiral, moving from the small drying tray's outer edge to the larger drying tray below. Here, the materials move inward and fall through the middle feeding port to the next layer. This alternate arrangement of large and small drying plates ensures continuous material flow throughout the dryer.
The hollow drying plate, filled with heating mediums like saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, and high-temperature molten salt, allows for controlled heating. Dried materials flow from the final drying tray to the aggregate tray and are transported to the discharge port by the rake blades. Moisture is expelled through a dehumidification port located on the top cover, with vacuum extraction available for vacuum disc dryers. The final dry materials can be packaged directly. By adding auxiliary equipment like finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag filters, pre-dryers, and induced draft fans, production capacity and efficiency can be enhanced. This system is ideal for drying paste-like and heat-sensitive materials, facilitating solvent recovery, and supporting processes such as heating, cooling, calcination, sublimation, pyrolysis, and reaction operations.
