The disc continuous dryer is a highly efficient, conductive drying solution designed for continuous operation. Its innovative structure and working principle ensure superior thermal efficiency, reduced energy consumption, minimal space requirements, straightforward configuration, easy operation and control, and an excellent operating environment.
Operational Principle:
Wet materials are continuously fed from the top feeder to the first-layer drying plate. The rotating rake arm with blades flips the materials, guiding them along an exponential spiral path. Moving from the smaller drying trays to the larger ones below, materials flow alternately through the layers, ensuring complete drying.
The hollow drying plates are saturated with a heating medium, such as steam, hot water, thermal oil, or high-temperature molten salt. This medium enters from one end of the plate and exits from the other. The dried material descends to the aggregate tray and is then moved to the discharge port by rake blades. Moisture is expelled through a dehumidification port on the top cover, while in vacuum disc dryers, it is extracted via the vacuum port. The final dried product can be directly packaged. With auxiliary equipment like finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag filters, pre-dryers, and induced draft fans, the drying capacity can be significantly enhanced. This setup is ideal for drying paste-like and heat-sensitive materials, solvent recovery, and various processes such as heating, cooling, calcination, sublimation, pyrolysis, and reactions.

Sealed Type: Equipped with a solvent recovery device that effectively retrieves organic solvents from moisture-carrying gases with a high recovery rate. It ensures safe operation, especially for flammable, explosive, toxic, and oxidizable materials, by using protective gas for closed-loop circulation. Ideal for drying such sensitive materials.
