The vacuum dryer is a sophisticated piece of equipment designed for drying materials under negative pressure. It consists of a steam-jacketed shell with rotating rake teeth inside, which reverse directions every 10-15 minutes to evenly stir the material and continuously refresh the surface. The vaporized water or solvent is extracted by a vacuum pump. This technique lowers the drying temperature and prevents material decomposition, making it ideal for chemical and pharmaceutical production.
Vacuum drying involves heating and drying materials under vacuum conditions, significantly accelerating the drying rate and conserving energy. Using a vacuum pump for suction and dehumidification maintains the studio in a vacuum, boosting efficiency. Vacuum drying equipment can be categorized into static and dynamic dryers. YZG cylindrical and FZG square vacuum dryers are static; SZG double cone rotary vacuum dryers are dynamic. Static dryers keep materials intact, ideal for disinfection before drying. Dynamic dryers ensure even, thorough drying as materials are constantly flipped. Vacuum conditions lower the boiling point of solvents, suitable for heat-sensitive or unstable materials; excellent sealing makes them perfect for solvent recovery and handling toxic gases. Operational Principle:
1) Heat energy (from hot water, low-pressure steam, or thermal oil) is channeled into a closed interlayer, transferring heat to the material inside through the inner shell.
2) The tank rotates slowly under power drive, continuously mixing the materials inside, thereby enhancing the drying process.
3) In a vacuum state, the reduced vapor pressure causes surface moisture (solvent) to reach saturation and evaporate, which is then promptly discharged and recovered by a vacuum pump. Moisture (solvent) within the material continuously permeates, evaporates, and is expelled from the surface, ensuring efficient drying.
