The rotary drum dryer (the dryer drum) is an indispensable drying solution across various industries such as chemical production, light industry, coal processing, building materials, and mining and metallurgy. Its rapid development in recent years has led to new forms that offer three main features: large-scale equipment specifications, structural type diversification, and enhanced energy efficiency and automation.
Principle:
The drying process begins when damp raw materials are fed from one end of the drum. Inside, the material is turned over by blades, ensuring a uniform distribution and full contact with countercurrent hot air. This increases heat conduction efficiency. During drying, the inclined blades and hot air stream facilitate the movement of the material towards the discharge end, where it exits through the discharging valve.
