The belt dryer is an impressively efficient continuous drying apparatus designed for batch production. Ideal for materials in sheet, strip, or granular form that possess excellent air permeability, it is especially adept at processing dehydrated vegetables, catalysts, and Chinese herbal slices, even those with significant moisture content. When high temperatures could degrade such materials, our belt dryer shines by ensuring a swift drying process with superior evaporation intensity and outstanding product quality. For paste materials like dehydrated filter cakes, granulation or strip formation precedes effective drying.
Principle:Our advanced drying process begins by evenly distributing material over a 12-60 mesh stainless steel mesh belt via a feeder. This belt traverses through the dryer, driven by a sophisticated mechanism. Comprising multiple units, each unit maintains independent hot air circulation. A specialized dehumidifying fan expels part of the tail gas, while a regulating valve meticulously controls exhaust. The belt's gentle movement can be adjusted to match material temperature, allowing continuous flow into the feeder post-drying. Tailored to user specifications, the up and down cycle unit can be configured, and unit quantities adjusted to fit bespoke needs.
In the innovative design of our drying equipment, materials housed within the hopper are expertly distributed across the mesh belt by an advanced feeder system. The mesh belt itself is typically crafted from high-grade 12-60 mesh stainless steel wire, driven by a precision transmission device within the dryer. This sophisticated dryer is an assembly of multiple units, each with its own independent hot air cycle. A special dehumidifying fan ensures that a portion of the exhaust gas is efficiently released through control valves in each unit. In the upper circulation unit, the air is drawn from the circulating fan, channeled through the side duct into the lower chamber, heated as it rises through heater 7, and then evenly distributed by distributor 6. This process creates a jet flow into the mesh belt, facilitating optimal heat and mass transfer as it ascends into the upper chamber, seamlessly connecting with the fan inlet. The majority of the gas is recycled, enhancing energy efficiency, while a segment of the lower temperature, moisture-laden gas is expelled via a large exhaust pipe through control valves and a moisture fan. In the lower circulation unit, air initially enters the upper chamber, is subsequently heated through a heat exchanger as it descends, passes through the material layer, and enters the lower chamber. This lower chamber is ingeniously linked to the fan by the side and return air ducts, maintaining effective recycling of the gas with only a minimal discharge. Designed with flexibility in mind, the number of upper and lower loop units can be tailored to meet specific user requirements.
Specially crafted for the dehydration of vegetables, this equipment is typically utilized in series of three units, forming a meticulously structured drying process: the initial dry section, the intermediate section, and the final dry section. In the initial phase, where the material's high moisture content presents a challenge, we employ a thinner material layer, accelerated belt speed, and elevated drying temperatures-reaching up to an impressive 120°C or higher. As the drying process advances, the material's retention time in the final section extends to an impressive 3-6 times that of the initial stage, with a material thickness of 2-4 times greater. When maintaining material temperatures below 60°C is crucial, a drying gas temperature around 80°C is employed. The belt dryer's efficiency is significantly enhanced through this multi-stage combination, ensuring uniform drying and superior performance.
