Description:
The disc continuous dryer is a highly efficient conductive continuous drying machine. Its unique design and operational principles ensure high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, compact footprint, simple operation, and superior control, providing an excellent operational environment.
Operational Principle:
Wet materials are continuously fed from the feeder to the first layer drying plate at the top. A rotating rake arm with rake blades continuously flips the materials, which flow across the drying tray surface in an exponential spiral pattern. Materials transfer from the small drying tray to the large drying tray below, moving inward and falling through a central feeding port, alternating through the dryer layers, ensuring continuous material flow.
The hollow drying plates are heated using various mediums such as saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, and high-temperature molten salt, entering from one end and exiting from the other. Dried materials fall into an aggregate tray and are transported by rake blades to the discharge port. Moisture is expelled through a dehumidification port on the top cover or a vacuum port in vacuum models. Auxiliary equipment like finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag filters, pre-dryers, and induced draft fans can enhance drying capacity, allowing for the processing of heat-sensitive materials, solvent recovery, and other operations like heating, cooling, calcination, sublimation, pyrolysis, and reaction.
