The centrifugal spray dryer employs a centrifugal atomizer to dry liquid materials, making it a staple in industrial production. Spray drying is a crucial process in the liquid forming and drying industry, ideal for creating powdery and granular products from solutions, emulsions, suspensions, and pumpable liquid raw materials. It ensures the particle size distribution, residual moisture content, bulk density, and particle shape conform to stringent standards.
Principle:
The centrifugal spray dryer operates by filtering and heating air, which then enters the dryer through an air distributor in a spiral pattern. Feed liquid is pumped to the centrifugal atomizer at the top, which sprays it into tiny mist droplets. These droplets rapidly contact the hot air, causing the water to evaporate quickly and drying the material in seconds. The finished product is collected from the bottom of the drying tower and cyclone separator, while exhaust gases are expelled via a fan. Users can customize the heating and dust removal modes based on specific needs.
