Operational Principle:
Wet materials commence their journey from a feeder onto the first layer of the drying plate atop the dryer. A rotating rake arm with rake blades ensures constant material turnover, guiding it along an exponential spiral on the drying tray's surface. From the small drying tray, the material transitions to the outer edge, cascading down to the subsequent large drying tray below. Here, it progresses inwardly before descending through the central feeding port to the next small drying tray. This alternate arrangement of large and small drying plates ensures a continuous material flow throughout the dryer.
Hollow drying plates are infused with a heating medium-options include saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, or high-temperature molten salt-entering from one side and exiting from the other. Once dried, materials descend from the final drying tray to the aggregate tray, then are efficiently channeled by rake blades to the discharge port. Moisture is effectively evacuated through a dehumidification port on the top cover, with the vacuum disc dryer expelling moisture via a top-cover vacuum port.
