Principle:
The dryer is densely packed with wedge-shaped hollow shaft blades through which the heat medium flows. This design provides an exceptionally large heat transfer area per unit volume, with heat medium temperatures ranging from -40ºC to 320ºC, and options for steam or liquid mediums like water and oil. Through indirect conduction heating, heat is efficiently utilized as it does not escape with the air but instead directly heats materials. Thanks to the self-cleaning properties of the wedge-shaped blades, the heat transfer surface remains pristine, ensuring optimal performance. The dryer features a W-type shell with typically 2-4 hollow stirring shafts, complete with sealed covers to prevent dust leakage and to collect material and solvent vapors.
