The double-cone rotary vacuum dryer is an advanced drying equipment that combines mixing and vacuum drying. During the vacuum drying process, material is placed in a sealed cylinder and continuously heated. A vacuum system pumps out the air, causing moisture inside the material to diffuse to the surface due to pressure or concentration differences. Water molecules gain enough kinetic energy to overcome molecular attraction and diffuse to the low-pressure space of the vacuum chamber, where they are removed by the vacuum pump, effectively separating them from the solid material.

1. During vacuum drying, the pressure inside the cylinder remains lower than atmospheric pressure, resulting in low gas density and oxygen content. This environment is ideal for drying oxidation-prone medicines, minimizing bacterial contamination.
2. Because the vaporization temperature of moisture is proportional to the steam pressure, vacuum drying allows moisture to vaporize at low temperatures, making it particularly suitable for producing heat-sensitive pharmaceutical materials.
