Principle:
The vacuum rake dryer is an innovative horizontal intermittent vacuum drying device. It evaporates wet materials through conduction, with a scraper agitator ensuring continuous material cleaning and circulation. Evaporated moisture is efficiently removed via a vacuum pump, widely used in the chemical industry's drying operations for organic semi-finished products and fuels.
The vacuum rake dryer's steam jacket offers indirect heating and gas exhaustion under high vacuum, making it perfect for materials sensitive to high temperatures, easily oxidized, or needing solvent recovery during drying. It accommodates varied moisture contents, and the dried material ranges from slurry to powder, achieving moisture content as low as 0.1% or even 0.05%.
Material is added from the top, and under constant agitation by rotating harrow teeth, the surface contacts the shell wall, renewing continuously. Indirect steam heating ensures gasification of moisture, which is promptly removed by a vacuum pump. The device can simultaneously heat both the interlayer and the harrow teeth, ensuring superior drying efficiency.
