Overview:
The centrifugal spray dryer employs a centrifugal atomizer to transform liquid materials into dry powder or granules. Widely adopted in industrial production, spray drying is a pivotal process in the liquid formation and drying industry. It is especially suitable for producing powdery and granular products from solutions, emulsions, suspensions, and pumping lake liquid raw materials. This method is ideal when specific standards for particle size distribution, residual moisture content, bulk density, and particle shape must be met.
Principle:
The centrifugal spray dryer operates by filtering and heating air, which then enters the air distributor at the top of the dryer. The hot air spirals uniformly into the drying chamber. The feed liquid, after being filtered and pumped from the feed tank, is atomized into fine mist droplets by the centrifugal atomizer. This mist comes into contact with the hot air, rapidly evaporating the moisture and drying the product in an exceptionally short time. The dried product is collected at the bottom of the drying tower and cyclone separator, while waste gases are expelled through a fan. Users can customize the heating and dust collection modes based on their specific requirements.
