Principle:
This innovative horizontal, batch vacuum drying equipment operates by evaporating moisture through conduction. A scraper agitator persistently sweeps the material across the heated surface, promoting a cyclic flow within the container. The evaporated moisture is efficiently extracted by a vacuum pump. The Vacuum Harrow Dryer is prevalently employed in the chemical industry, especially for drying organic semi-finished products and fuels.
Featuring a steam jacket, the vacuum rake dryer device heats the material indirectly under high vacuum conditions, making it ideal for temperature-sensitive or easily oxidizable materials. It handles the drying of fuels and materials where vapor or solvent recovery is crucial. Moisture or solvent content in dried materials can range from a substantial 90% to as low as 15%, transforming into slurry, paste, granules, powders, or fibers with a post-drying moisture content as low as 0.1% or even 0.05%.
Material is introduced from the upper middle section of the shell, and the constantly rotating harrow teeth ensure continuous renewal of the material's surface upon contact with the shell wall. Steam-induced indirect heating facilitates moisture vaporization, with the vapor promptly evacuated by a vacuum pump. The machine can simultaneously utilize interlayer and harrow tooth heating.
