The Double-Cone Rotary Vacuum Dryer masterfully combines mixing and vacuum drying. During the vacuum drying process, materials are placed in a sealed cylinder where they are continually heated. The vacuum system creates a pressure difference, enabling moisture to diffuse from the material's interior to its surface. Water molecules gain sufficient kinetic energy to overcome molecular attraction, migrating to the low-pressure vacuum chamber and being efficiently removed by the vacuum pump, completing the drying process.

1. In the vacuum drying process, the pressure inside the cylinder remains lower than atmospheric pressure, resulting in a lower density and oxygen content. This makes it ideal for drying materials prone to oxidation, significantly reducing the risk of bacterial contamination.
2. Since the vaporization temperature of moisture is proportionate to steam pressure, vacuum drying enables moisture to vaporize at lower temperatures, making it especially suitable for heat-sensitive pharmaceutical materials.
3. Vacuum drying effectively prevents surface hardening-a common issue due to large pressure differences during conventional drying-ensuring a uniformly dried material.
