The Low Temperature Circular Square Vacuum Dryer for Food Processing is designed for drying under negative pressure. This innovative equipment features a steam jacketed shell with internally rotating rake teeth, which reverse direction every 10-15 minutes to ensure even material stirring and surface renewal. A vacuum pump extracts gasified water (or solvent), lowering the drying temperature to prevent material decomposition. Ideal for chemical and pharmaceutical production, the vacuum dryer optimizes drying efficiency and product quality.
Vacuum drying involves heating and dehumidifying materials under vacuum conditions using a vacuum pump. This accelerates the drying rate and conserves energy. Vacuum drying equipment is categorized into static and dynamic dryers. YZG cylindrical and FZG square vacuum dryers are static, while SZG double cone rotary vacuum dryers are dynamic. Static dryers maintain material integrity, allowing for pre-drying disinfection. Dynamic dryers ensure even and thorough drying by continuously flipping the material. Suitable for drying unstable or heat-sensitive materials, vacuum dryers are also effective for materials requiring solvent recovery or containing strong irritants and toxic gases. Widely used in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food, and dyes, these dryers comply with GMP standards.
Operational Principle:
1) Heat energy (hot water, low-pressure steam, or thermal oil) is introduced into a closed interlayer, transferring heat to the material through the inner shell.
2) Powered rotation causes the tank to slowly turn, continuously mixing the materials inside to enhance the drying process.
3) In a vacuum state, vapor pressure decreases, causing surface moisture (solvent) to reach saturation and evaporate. This is promptly discharged and recovered by a vacuum pump. The internal moisture (solvent) continually permeates and evaporates from the surface, achieving efficient drying in a short period.
