The PLG Series Plate Dryer is a highly efficient, conductive continuous drying apparatus. Operational Principle:
Wet materials are continuously introduced from the feeder to the top layer drying plate. The rotating rake arm with rake blades ensures continuous flipping of the materials. As the material flows over the drying tray surface in an exponential spiral, it moves from the small drying tray to the large drying tray below. This alternating arrangement allows materials to flow seamlessly through the dryer.
The hollow drying plates are filled with heating mediums such as saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, or high-temperature molten salt. These mediums enter from one end of the drying plate and exit from the other, ensuring efficient heat transfer. Dried materials are collected on the aggregate tray and transported to the discharge port. Moisture is expelled through the dehumidification port or vacuum port, depending on the dryer configuration. With auxiliary equipment like finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, and more, drying capacity can be enhanced. This versatile system also supports operations like heating, cooling, calcination, substantiation, pyrolysis, and even reactions.
