The Two-Dimensional Mixer, as the name suggests, allows the drum to move simultaneously in two directions. These movements include the rotation of the drum, synchronized with the swing of the swing frame. The mixed material within the drum rotates, flips, and mixes, while the swinging motion ensures thorough left-to-right mixing, achieving a complete blend in a short period.
Principle:
Powered by the driving shaft, the barrel loaded with materials engages in compound motions of translation and tumbling. This cyclic action makes the materials move annularly, radially, and axially within the body, facilitating mutual flow, spread, accumulation, and thorough mixing.
