Description:
The Low Temperature Vacuum Dryer for Various Medicine and Chemical Uses is engineered for efficient drying under negative pressure. It features a steam jacket and rotating rake teeth, which reverse direction every 10-15 minutes to ensure even stirring and continuous surface renewal. A vacuum pump extracts the vaporized water or solvent, lowering drying temperatures and preventing material decomposition. This equipment is ideal for chemical and pharmaceutical production.
Vacuum drying involves heating materials under vacuum conditions, using a vacuum pump for suction and dehumidification. This accelerates the drying rate and saves energy. Vacuum dryers are classified into static and dynamic types. YZG cylindrical and FZG square dryers are static, while the SZG double cone rotary dryer is dynamic. Static dryers preserve material form and allow pre-drying disinfection, while dynamic dryers ensure more even and thorough drying. The low boiling point of solvents under vacuum is ideal for unstable or heat-sensitive materials. Excellent sealing makes vacuum dryers suitable for drying materials requiring solvent recovery or containing irritants and toxic gases. Widely used in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food, dyes, etc., these dryers meet GMP standards.
Operational Principle:
1) Heat energy (from hot water, low-pressure steam, or thermal oil) is introduced into a closed interlayer, transferring heat through the inner shell to the drying material.
2) The tank rotates slowly under power drive, continuously mixing the materials inside to enhance drying efficiency.
3) In a vacuum state, the lower vapor pressure causes surface moisture (or solvent) to saturate and evaporate. This vapor is promptly discharged and recovered by a vacuum pump. The internal moisture permeates outward, evaporates, and is discharged, allowing the drying process to achieve optimal results in a short time.
