The Versatile Circular Square Vacuum Dryer is designed for efficient drying under negative pressure. It features a steam-jacketed shell with rotating rake teeth that reverse directions every 10-15 minutes to ensure thorough stirring and surface renewal of the material. A vacuum pump extracts gasified water or solvent, allowing for lower drying temperatures and preventing material decomposition, making it ideal for chemical and pharmaceutical production.
Vacuum drying involves heating and drying materials under vacuum conditions, significantly accelerating the drying rate and conserving energy. The process uses a vacuum pump for suction and dehumidification, maintaining the vacuum state. There are static and dynamic vacuum dryers: YZG cylindrical and FZG square dryers are static, while SZG double cone rotary dryers are dynamic. Static dryers keep the material form intact and can be sterilized pre-drying, whereas dynamic dryers ensure more uniform and thorough drying by continuously flipping the material. The reduced boiling point in a vacuum state is beneficial for drying unstable or heat-sensitive materials, and the excellent sealing makes vacuum dryers suitable for materials requiring solvent recovery or containing irritants and toxic gases. These dryers are extensively used in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food, and dye industries, complying with GMP standards.
Operational Principle:
1) Heat energy, such as hot water, low-pressure steam, or thermal oil, is introduced into a closed interlayer, transferring heat to the material through the inner shell.
2) The tank rotates slowly under power drive, ensuring continuous mixing and enhancing the drying process.
3) In a vacuum state, reduced vapor pressure causes surface moisture (solvent) to evaporate and be promptly discharged and recovered by a vacuum pump. The internal moisture continually permeates, evaporates, and is discharged from the surface, achieving efficient drying in a short time.
