Description:
The Disc Continuous Dryer is a highly efficient conductive continuous drying system. Its unique structure and innovative working principles ensure exceptional thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, compact design, simple configuration, ease of operation, and superior environmental friendliness.
Operational Principle:
Wet materials are continuously fed onto the first-layer drying plate at the top of the dryer. A rotating rake arm with blades flips the materials as they traverse along an exponential spiral across the drying trays. The material on the smaller trays moves to the outer edges and falls onto the larger trays below. On the larger trays, the material moves inward, falling onto the next small drying tray from a central feeding port. This alternating arrangement allows a seamless flow of materials through the dryer.
The hollow drying plates are filled with heating media such as saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, or high-temperature molten salt, entering from one end and exiting from the other. Dried materials fall onto the aggregate tray and are transported to the discharge port. Moisture is released and removed through dehumidification or vacuum ports. The dried materials can be directly packaged, and auxiliary equipment like finned heaters, condensers, bag filters, pre-dryers, and fans can enhance drying capacity. This system can handle paste-like and heat-sensitive materials, facilitating solvent recovery, heating, cooling, calcination, sublimation, pyrolysis, and reaction processes.
