Operational Principle:
Wet materials are systematically fed from the feeder to the uppermost drying plate. Here, a rotating rake arm continuously flips the materials, which then travel across the drying tray in an exponential spiral. As materials move from the smaller to larger drying trays, they fall through strategically placed feeding ports, flowing seamlessly through the dryer. This efficient setup ensures consistent material movement and thorough drying.
The hollow drying plates, filled with various heating mediums like saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, and high-temperature molten salt, efficiently transfer heat from entry to exit points. As the dried material descends to the aggregate tray, rake blades guide it towards the discharge port. Moisture is expelled via the top cover's dehumidification port, and in vacuum conditions, it exits through the vacuum port. The dried material, ready for packaging, can benefit from auxiliary equipment like finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag filters, pre-dryers, and induced draft fans, enhancing production capabilities and enabling a range of operations from heating and cooling to pyrolysis and reactions.
