Our Belt Dryer is an efficient, continuous drying solution ideal for batch production. Designed for sheet, strip, and granular materials with excellent air permeability, it is especially suited for dehydrated vegetables, catalysts, and Chinese herbal pieces with high water content and temperature sensitivity. This dryer series boasts rapid drying speed, high evaporation intensity, and superb product quality. Paste-like materials in dehydrated filter cake form can also be efficiently dried after granulating or forming into strips.
Principle:The material is uniformly distributed over the mesh belt by the feeder, utilizing a 12-60 mesh stainless steel mesh. It traverses the dryer propelled by a driving mechanism. The dryer comprises multiple units, each facilitating independent hot air circulation. Tail gas is expelled through a specialized dehumidifying fan, with the exhaust flow managed by a regulating valve to optimize heat and moisture removal. The net belt progresses slowly, allowing for adjustable speeds based on material temperature. Post-drying, the finished product seamlessly descends into the feeder. Customizable up and down cycle units are available to meet specific user requirements, allowing flexibility in unit count.
The state-of-the-art material processing begins with the feeder seamlessly spreading the contents from the hopper onto the mesh belt, crafted from robust 12-60 mesh stainless steel wire. This dynamic mesh belt, powered by a sophisticated transmission device, glides through the dryer. The dryer consists of multiple units, each boasting an independent hot air cycle. A specialized dehumidifying fan manages the exhaust gas within each unit, which is regulated by a control valve. In the upper circulation unit, air propelled by the circulating fan enters through the side air duct into the unit's lower chamber, rising upwards via heater 7. The air distributes evenly through distributor 6, creating a jet flow that penetrates the mesh belt, interacting with the material before reaching the upper chamber. This drying marvel involves hot air traversing the material layer, effectuating efficient heat and mass transfer. The upper chamber is ingeniously linked to the fan inlet by the air duct. While most gas cycles within, a portion, characterized by lower temperature and moisture, exits through a large exhaust pipe managed by control valves and a moisture fan. In the lower circulation unit, air ascends first into the upper chamber, descends through the heat exchanger, and passes through the material layer into the lower chamber. This chamber is intelligently connected to the fan via side and return air ducts, allowing for seamless gas circulation with partial discharge. These modular up and down loop units cater to user-specific needs, with adjustable quantities offering unparalleled customization.
This cutting-edge equipment is indispensable for the dehydration of vegetables, typically utilizing a trio of units in series to form distinct stages: initial dry, intermediate, and final dry sections. At the early drying stage, materials with high moisture content present poor permeability, necessitating a thinner material layer, accelerated running speed, and elevated drying temperatures. The drying gas temperature in this phase can soar to 120°C or beyond, maximizing efficiency. Progressing to the final dry section, material retention time extends to 3-6 times that of the initial stage, with material thickness expanding to 2-4 times. For processes requiring material temperatures not to exceed 60°C, dry gas at approximately 80°C is utilized. The performance of the belt dryer is significantly enhanced through a multi-stage combination, ensuring an even, thorough drying process.
