Description:
The disc continuous dryer stands out as an efficient conductive continuous drying solution. Its innovative structure and operational principle contribute to exceptional thermal efficiency, minimal energy consumption, compact design, straightforward configuration, user-friendly operation, and a favorable working environment.
Operational Principle:
Wet materials are consistently introduced from the feeder onto the first layer drying plate positioned at the top of the dryer. A rotating rake arm equipped with rake blades ensures continuous material flipping. The material spirals down the drying tray's surface. On the small drying tray, material moves to the outer edge and descends to the large drying tray below. Here, it moves inward and falls to the next small drying tray through the central feeding port. This alternating arrangement of large and small drying trays ensures a seamless flow of materials throughout the dryer.
The hollow drying plate is infused with a heating medium, which could be saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, or high-temperature molten salt. The medium enters from one end and exits from the other. Dried material is directed from the final drying tray layer to the aggregate tray and then to the discharge port. Moisture evaporates and exits via the dehumidification port on the top cover. In the vacuum disc dryer, moisture is extracted through the top vacuum port. The dried material can be directly packaged. Additional auxiliary equipment such as finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag filters, pre-dryers, and induced draft fans can enhance drying capacity. This setup easily facilitates the recovery of solvents and various operations like heating, cooling, calcination, sublimation, pyrolysis, and reactions.

Features:
Easy to Regulate
By adjusting material layer thickness, spindle speed, number of rake arms, and the type and size of rake blades, the drying process can be finely tuned.
Each drying tray layer can be individually supplied with hot or cold media to precisely control material temperature.
Easily adjust material residence time for optimal results.
The material flows in one direction, ensuring no backmixing. This results in evenly dried materials without the need for additional mixing.
Effortless operation
Operating and parking the dryer is straightforward and user-friendly.
Once feeding stops, the material scraper quickly empties the dryer, ensuring minimal residue.
The specially designed large inspection door mirror allows for thorough cleaning and detailed observation of the equipment's interior.
Energy-efficient consumption
With a very thin material layer and low spindle speed, the material conveying system is highly efficient, requiring minimal power and electricity.
Heat conduction drying offers superior thermal efficiency and low energy consumption.
Environmental sustainability
Atmospheric Pressure Type: With low airflow velocity and varied humidity levels inside the equipment, dust remains settled. Thus, the exhaust gas released is nearly dust-free.
Sealed Type: Featuring a solvent recovery device, it efficiently recovers organic solvents from moisture-laden gases. This device is straightforward and boasts a high recovery rate. For flammable, explosive, toxic, and oxidizable materials, protective gas is used for safe closed-loop circulation, making it ideal for sensitive materials.
Vacuum Type: This disc dryer, operated under vacuum conditions, is perfect for drying thermosensitive materials.
Hassle-free installation
The dryer is pre-manufactured and transported as a single unit, requiring only lifting and positioning during installation.
Thanks to its vertical installation and dry tray layout, the dryer occupies a very small footprint despite its extensive drying area.
