Description:
The disc continuous dryer is a highly efficient conductive drying equipment. With its unique structure and working principle, it offers high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, minimal footprint, simple configuration, easy operation and control, and an excellent operating environment.
Operational Principle:
Wet materials are introduced from the feeder to the first-tier drying plate at the top. The rake arm with blades rotates to continuously flip the materials. They flow along an exponential spiral on the drying tray. On the smaller trays, materials are transferred to the outer edge and fall to the larger trays below. This alternating arrangement allows continuous material flow through the dryer.
The hollow drying plate is filled with a heating medium like saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, or high-temperature molten salt, entering from one end and exiting the other. The dried material descends to the aggregate tray, and is transported to the discharge port. Moisture is expelled through the dehumidification port on the top cover or extracted via a vacuum port in vacuum operation. Adding auxiliary equipment can enhance production capacity and allow for heating, cooling, calcination, sublimation, pyrolysis, and reaction operations.
