Water molecules gain sufficient kinetic energy to overcome molecular attraction, diffuse into the vacuum chamber, and are removed by the vacuum pump, completing the drying process.

1. Throughout the vacuum drying process, the cylinder pressure remains lower than atmospheric pressure, resulting in fewer gas molecules, lower density, and reduced oxygen content. This ensures optimal drying for easily oxidizable materials and minimizes bacterial contamination risks.
2. Due to the proportional relationship between vaporization temperature and steam pressure, vacuum drying allows moisture to vaporize at lower temperatures, making it ideal for heat-sensitive pharmaceutical production.
