The Continuous Plate Dryer is a highly efficient conductive drying system. Its unique design and operation principle ensure high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, compact footprint, simple configuration, ease of operation and control, and an excellent working environment.
Operational Principle:
Wet materials are continuously fed from the feeder to the first-layer drying plate. The rotating rake arm with blades continuously flips the materials, which flow along an exponential spiral on the drying plate's surface. Materials transition from smaller to larger drying plates and back, ensuring continuous flow throughout the dryer.
The hollow drying plates are filled with heating mediums such as saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, or high-temperature molten salt. The heating medium travels through the plates, heating the materials. Dried materials are collected on the aggregate tray and discharged through the discharge port. Moisture evaporates and exits through the dehumidification port or vacuum port on the top cover. The system supports additional equipment like finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag filters, pre-dryers, and induced draft fans to enhance drying capacity. It is suitable for drying paste-like and heat-sensitive materials, solvent recovery, and operations like heating, cooling, calcination, sublimation, pyrolysis, and reactions.
