The disc continuous dryer is a highly efficient conductive drying solution, boasting a unique structure and operational principle. Operational Principle:
Wet materials are continuously fed from the feeder to the first layer of the upper drying plate. Here, the rake arm equipped with rake blades continuously flips the materials. The materials flow across the drying tray surface in an exponential spiral pattern. From the small drying tray, they move to the outer edge, falling onto the larger drying tray below. On this larger tray, materials move inward and drop to the next small drying tray from the central feeding port. This alternating arrangement of large and small drying plates facilitates continuous material flow throughout the dryer.
The hollow drying plate is infused with a heating medium, such as saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, or high-temperature molten salt, entering from one end and exiting from the other. Dried materials descend from the last drying tray to the aggregate tray and are transported by rake blades to the discharge port. Moisture is expelled through a dehumidification port on the top cover. In vacuum disc dryers, moisture is extracted via a vacuum port on the top cover. The dried materials can be directly packaged. Enhancing the drying capacity is possible by integrating auxiliary equipment like finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag filters, pre-dryers, and induced draft fans. It is ideal for drying paste-like and heat-sensitive materials, solvent recovery, and operations such as heating, cooling, calcination, sublimation, pyrolysis, and reaction processes.

Sealed Type: Equipped with an efficient solvent recovery device, it effectively recovers organic solvents from moisture-laden gases. The device is simple to use, boasting a high recovery rate. For materials that are flammable, explosive, toxic, or oxidizable, protective gas can serve as the moisture-carrying gas in a closed-loop system, ensuring safe operation.
