The rotary drum dryer is a versatile drying equipment extensively used in industries such as chemicals, light industry, coal, building materials, mining, and metallurgy. It holds a significant position in these fields. Recent advancements have led to numerous new types of rotary drum dryers, characterized by their large-scale specifications, diverse structural types, and enhanced energy efficiency and automation.
Principle:
The process begins when damp raw materials are fed from one end of the drum. Inside, blades turn the material, distributing it uniformly throughout the dryer and ensuring full contact with countercurrent hot air. This maximizes heat conduction. As the drying process continues, the inclined blades and hot air stream move the material towards the dryer's discharge section, where it is expelled through a discharge valve.
