Overview:The vacuum harrow dryer boasts a simple structure, user-friendly operation, long lifespan, and reliable performance. This dryer is particularly ideal for drying paste materials that are sensitive to high temperatures, flammable, or prone to oxidation during temperature regulation.
Principle:
The vacuum rake dryer is an innovative horizontal intermittent vacuum drying device. The wet material evaporates through conduction, as the scraper agitator continuously cleans the material on the heated surface, creating a circulating flow within the container. The evaporated water is then extracted by a vacuum pump. Widely used in the chemical industry, it is especially efficient for drying organic semi-finished products and fuels.
The steam jacket in the vacuum rake dryer indirectly heats the material and expels gas under high vacuum conditions. This makes it exceptionally suitable for materials sensitive to high temperatures, those that oxidize easily, or generate powder during drying. It is also ideal for drying operations where vapor or solvent removal is necessary. The moisture or solvent content in materials dried using this equipment can range from 90% to as low as 15%. The resulting dried material can vary from slurry, paste, granular, powdery, to fibrous forms, achieving a moisture content as low as 0.1% or even 0.05%.
Materials are introduced from the top center of the shell. The constantly rotating harrow teeth ensure the material consistently contacts the shell wall, facilitating continuous surface renewal. The material is indirectly heated by steam, causing moisture to vaporize and be swiftly extracted by a vacuum pump. The dryer can simultaneously utilize heating via both the interlayer and the harrow teeth. Due to the high operating vacuum, the water vapor pressure on the material surface is significantly higher than that in the evaporating space, promoting efficient moisture discharge from within and on the material surface. This enhances water molecule movement within the material, optimizing the drying process.
