Overview:
The centrifugal spray dryer operates by utilizing a centrifugal atomizer to dry liquid materials-a technology now integral to industrial production. Spray drying is a pivotal process in the liquid forming and drying industry, making it ideal for creating powdered and granular products from solutions, emulsions, suspensions, and pumpable lake raw materials. This method ensures that the particle size distribution, residual moisture content, bulk density, and particle shape meet exacting standards.
Principle:
The centrifugal spray dryer operates on a straightforward principle: air is filtered and heated before entering the air distributor at the top of the dryer. The hot air is spiraled uniformly into the drying chamber. Meanwhile, the feed liquid is pumped from its tank through a filter to the centrifugal atomizer at the top of the dryer, where it is sprayed into tiny mist droplets. As these droplets come into contact with the hot air, rapid water evaporation occurs, resulting in instantaneous drying. The finished product is then discharged from the bottom of the drying tower and through the cyclone separator, while waste gas is expelled via the fan. Depending on specific requirements, users can select various heating and dust collection modes.
