The Double-Cone Rotary Vacuum Dryer is an advanced piece of drying equipment that seamlessly integrates mixing and vacuum drying. In this process, materials are placed in a sealed cylinder and continuously heated. The vacuum system pumps out the air, causing the moisture to diffuse to the surface due to pressure or concentration differences. Water molecules gain enough kinetic energy to overcome molecular attraction, diffuse into the low-pressure vacuum chamber, and are removed by the vacuum pump, achieving efficient separation from the solid material.

1. During vacuum drying, the cylinder's pressure remains lower than atmospheric pressure, resulting in fewer gas molecules, lower density, and reduced oxygen content. This environment is ideal for drying easily oxidizable medicines while minimizing bacterial contamination.
2. Since the vaporization temperature of moisture is proportional to steam pressure, vacuum drying allows moisture to vaporize at low temperatures, making it perfect for producing heat-sensitive pharmaceutical materials.
3. Vacuum drying eliminates surface hardening, which can occur due to significant pressure differences between the interior and surface of the material, ensuring even drying.
4. With a minimal temperature gradient between the material's interior and exterior, moisture is effectively moved and collected through reverse osmosis, reducing the losses commonly associated with hot air drying.

Principle:
The Double-Cone Dryer features a double-cone rotary tank. Under vacuum conditions, steam or hot water is introduced into the jacket to heat the tank. The evaporated moisture is pumped out through the vacuum exhaust pipe by the vacuum pump. The tank's vacuum state and rotation cause the material to move constantly, accelerating drying speed, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring uniform drying.

The condition of the dried material (such as the material shape, size, stacking method), its moisture content, density, viscosity, and other properties significantly influence the drying process's efficiency. Additionally, the vacuum drying speed can be enhanced by elevating the initial temperature of the material, pre-treating it after vacuum filtration, and reducing its moisture content.
2. The higher the degree of vacuum, the more beneficial it is for the vaporization of water at lower temperatures. However, an excessively high vacuum degree can impede heat conduction, affecting the material's heating efficiency. To optimize drying speed, the vacuum degree should be tailored to the material's characteristics. Generally, the vacuum should not be less than 104Pa.
