Description:
The belt dryer is an advanced continuous drying system designed for batch production. It excels in drying sheet, strip, and granular materials that possess excellent air permeability. Ideal for applications such as dehydrated vegetables, catalysts, and Chinese herbal pieces where high water content is present, and high temperatures are unsuitable. This dryer boasts rapid drying speeds, high evaporation intensity, and outstanding product quality. For paste materials derived from dehydrated filter cake, it offers efficient drying after granulation or strip formation.

Principle:
Materials are evenly distributed onto the mesh belt via the feeder, utilizing a 12-60 mesh stainless steel mesh. The driving device moves the material through the dryer, which comprises several units. Each unit facilitates independent hot air circulation; a specialized dehumidifying fan discharges part of the tail gas, with exhaust gas regulation achieved via a control valve. The heat effectively dries and dehumidifies the materials, while the adjustable belt speed ensures optimal drying. The dryer can be customized with flexible up and down cycle units, allowing for precise configuration to meet user requirements, including the number of units needed.
At the heart of efficiency, the material within the hopper is meticulously dispersed across the mesh belt by an advanced feeder system. This belt, crafted from a robust 12-60 mesh stainless steel wire mesh, glides through the dryer powered by the transmission device. The dryer, an assembly of multiple units, facilitates independent hot air circulation in each segment. Accompanying this, a specialized dehumidifying fan plays a pivotal role in regulating exhaust gas, each managed by a precise control valve. In the upper circulation unit, air propelled by the circulating fan is ushered into the lower chamber from the side air duct. Here, it ascends, gaining warmth via heater 7, then evenly distributed by distributor 6 before being jetted into the mesh belt. This jet flow penetrates the material, transitioning into the upper chamber, where heat and mass transfer processes complete the drying operation. The upper chamber seamlessly connects to the fan inlet through air ducts. While most of the gas recirculates, a portion of lower temperature and moisture-laden exhaust is expelled via large exhaust pipes and moisture fans. Similarly, in the lower circulation unit, air from the circulating fan first enters the upper chamber, conducts heat downward through the heat exchanger, traverses the material layer, and proceeds to the lower chamber. The lower chamber connects to the fan via side and return air ducts, ensuring a predominant gas recirculation with controlled emissions. Flexibility in configuration allows for tailored up and down loop units catering to specific user requirements and unit quantity preferences.
Specially designed for the dehydration of vegetables, this system often employs a triad of equipment sets arranged in series, creating a seamless flow from initial drying, through an intermediate phase, to final drying. In the initial phase, due to the material's high moisture content and poor permeability, a thinner material layer is utilized, coupled with accelerated running speed and elevated drying temperatures. Here, the drying gas can escalate to temperatures of 120°C or higher. As the process advances to the final dry section, the material's retention time extends, lasting 3-6 times longer than in the initial phase, and the material's thickness increases by 2-4 times. For materials that must not exceed temperatures of 60°C, a drying gas of approximately 80°C is employed. Implementing a multi-stage combination enhances the belt dryer's effectiveness, ensuring a more uniform drying process.
