Description:
The disc continuous dryer stands out as an efficient, conductive continuous drying system. Its innovative structure and operating principle ensure high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, a compact footprint, straightforward configuration, ease of operation and control, and an excellent operational environment.
Operational Principle:
Wet materials are continuously fed from the feeder to the first layer drying plate atop the dryer, where the rake arm equipped with rake blades constantly flips the materials. The materials proceed in an exponential spiral across the drying tray surface. Transferred from the smaller drying plate to the outer edge, they fall onto the larger drying plate below, moving inward and then descending to the subsequent smaller drying plate through the central feeding port. This alternating arrangement facilitates a seamless material flow throughout the dryer.
The hollow drying plate is infused with a heating medium, including saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, or high-temperature molten salt, entering from one end and exiting from the other. The dried materials descend from the final drying tray to the aggregate tray and are eventually transported by rake blades to the discharge port. Moisture evaporates and exits through the dehumidification port on the top cover, with the vacuums extracted via the vacuum port. The dried materials at the bottom can be immediately packaged. Enhancing productivity, auxiliary equipment like finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag filters, pre-dryers, and induced draft fans can be integrated. This system efficiently manages the drying of paste-like and heat-sensitive materials, solvent recovery, and operations such as heating, cooling, calcination, sublimation, pyrolysis, and reactions.
