The PLG Series Continuous Dryer stands as a pinnacle of efficiency in conductive drying technology. Operational Principle:
Wet materials are continuously fed from a feeder onto the first layer drying plate at the top of the dryer. A rake arm fitted with blades continuously turns the materials, ensuring uniform drying as they traverse the surface of the drying plate in an exponential spiral. The materials move from the smaller drying trays to the larger ones below, continuing this pattern through the entire dryer.
The hollow drying plates are heated by a medium such as saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, or high-temperature molten salt, which enters from one end and exits from the other. Dried materials exit from the last layer onto the aggregate tray and are transported by rake blades to the discharge port. Moisture is released and expelled through the dehumidification port on the top cover, or extracted through the vacuum port in a vacuum disc dryer. The finished product can be directly packaged. By incorporating auxiliary equipment such as finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag filters, pre-dryers, and induced draft fans, the drying process can be optimized for efficiency, allowing for the treatment of heat-sensitive materials and the recovery of solvents.
