The disc continuous dryer is a highly efficient conductive continuous drying equipment. Operational Principle:
Wet materials are continuously fed from the feeder to the first layer drying plate at the top of the dryer. The rake arm with rake blades rotates to continuously flip the materials. The material moves along the surface of the drying tray in an exponential spiral. On the small drying tray, it flows to the outer edge and drops to the large drying tray below. On the large drying tray, the material moves inward and falls into the next layer of the small drying tray from the central feeding port. This alternate arrangement allows materials to flow continuously through the dryer.
The hollow drying plate is filled with a heating medium such as saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, or high-temperature molten salt. The heating medium enters from one end of the drying plate and exits from the other. The dried material falls from the last layer of the drying tray to the aggregate tray and is then transported by the rake blades to the discharge port. Moisture evaporates from the material and is expelled through the dehumidification port on the top cover. In the vacuum disc dryer, moisture is extracted via the vacuum port on the top cover. The dried materials can be directly packaged. By adding auxiliary equipment like finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag filters, pre-dryers, and induced draft fans, the drying capacity can be enhanced. This system is ideal for drying paste-like and heat-sensitive materials, solvent recovery, and operations such as heating, cooling, calcination, sublimation, pyrolysis, and reactions.

Sealed Type: Equipped with a solvent recovery device, it efficiently recovers organic solvents from moisture-carrying gases. The device is straightforward and offers a high recovery rate. For flammable, explosive, toxic, and oxidizable materials, a protective gas can be used for closed-loop circulation, ensuring safe operation. Ideal for drying such sensitive materials.
