Operational Principle:
Wet materials are continuously introduced from the feeder to the uppermost drying plate. The rake arm, equipped with rake blades, rotates to perpetually flip the materials, guiding them along the drying tray in an exponential spiral. Materials transition from small drying trays to the larger ones below through a systematic flow, ensuring thorough drying. The alternating arrangement of large and small trays guarantees a consistent material flow throughout the dryer.
The hollow drying plates are filled with a heating medium, such as saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, or high-temperature molten salt. This medium enters from one end of the drying plate and exits from the other, ensuring uniform heating. Post-drying, materials are collected on the aggregate tray and discharged via the rake blades. Moisture is efficiently expelled through the dehumidification or vacuum ports, allowing direct packaging of dried materials. By incorporating auxiliary equipment like finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag filters, pre-dryers, and induced draft fans, the drying capacity is significantly enhanced. This system is versatile enough for drying paste-like and heat-sensitive materials, with capabilities for solvent recovery, heating, cooling, calcination, sublimation, pyrolysis, and reaction operations.
