Two-dimensional mixer, formally known as the two-dimensional movement mixer, functions with the drum moving simultaneously in two directions. These movements include the rotation of the drum, combined with the swinging motion of the frame. Inside the rotating drum, the material rotates, flips, and mixes while also moving from left to right due to the swinging motion, achieving thorough mixing in a short time.

Driven by the driving shaft, the barrel loaded with materials undergoes a combination of translational and tumbling movements. These movements facilitate annular, radial, and axial motions within the barrel, ensuring materials flow, spread, accumulate, and mix thoroughly for optimal mixing results.
