Our Belt Dryer represents the pinnacle of continuous drying technology for batch production. Specially designed for drying sheet, strip, and granular materials with superior air permeability, it is perfect for processing dehydrated vegetables, catalysts, and Chinese herbal medicines, especially those with high water content that require careful temperature control. This dryer series offers rapid drying speeds with high evaporation intensity, resulting in superior product quality. It is also adept at drying paste materials, such as dehydrated filter cakes, which can be processed effectively after granulating or forming into strips.
Principle:The drying process begins as material is evenly distributed onto the mesh belt by the feeder, utilizing a 12-60 mesh stainless steel mesh. Driven by a specialized device, the material travels through the dryer, which comprises multiple units. Each unit operates independently with hot air circulation, while a dedicated dehumidifying fan discharges a portion of the tail gas. Exhaust control valves manage the emission, ensuring efficient heat application, moisture removal, and drying. The mesh belt's slow, adjustable movement aligns with the material's temperature needs, and the dried product is collected seamlessly by the feeder. This versatile design allows for user-specific customization of cycle units and the selection of unit numbers to meet varied processing requirements.
In our cutting-edge drying solution, material from the hopper is artfully distributed onto the mesh belt by the feeder. This sophisticated belt, crafted from 12-60 mesh stainless steel wire mesh, is propelled through the dryer by a reliable transmission system. The dryer itself is an assembly of multiple units, each featuring an autonomous hot air circulation system. A specialized dehumidifying fan meticulously controls the exhaust gas from each unit via a control valve. Within the upper circulation unit, air is drawn by the circulating fan, entering the lower chamber from the side air duct. This air is then heated as it ascends through heater 7, and, thanks to distributor 6, is transformed into a jet flow that permeates the mesh belt, effectively passing through material into the upper chamber. The drying magic unfolds as hot air gently traverses the material layer, facilitating essential heat and mass transfer. The upper chamber seamlessly connects to the fan inlet via an air duct. Remarkably, most of the gas is recycled; however, some cooler, moisture-laden air is expelled through large exhaust pipes and controlled via moisture fans. In the lower circulation unit, air first enters the upper chamber, undergoing a heating process through a heat exchanger before descending through the material layer and entering the lower chamber. This lower chamber is ingeniously linked to the fan by the side and return air ducts, promoting maximum gas circulation with partial discharge. Flexibility is at the heart of our design, allowing users to customize up and down loop units and select the number of units according to their specific needs.
Our state-of-the-art belt dryer is ingeniously designed for dehydrating vegetables, typically utilizing three units in a series to craft the initial dry, intermediate, and final dry sections. In the early stage, due to the high moisture content, the material's permeability is low. Thus, a thinner material layer, faster belt speed, and elevated drying temperatures are employed to optimize the process. During the initial phase, the drying gas temperature can soar to a remarkable 120°C or more. As the material transitions to the final dry stage, it remains on the belt for a duration 3 to 6 times longer than the initial stage, with the material thickness doubling or even quadrupling. For materials requiring temperatures not exceeding 60°C, a 80°C drying gas is ideal. This belt dryer's performance is significantly enhanced by a multi-stage combination, ensuring exceptionally uniform drying.
