Operational Principle:
Wet materials are continuously fed into the first layer drying plate at the top of the dryer. The rotating rake arm with rake blades continuously flips the materials, which flow along the surface of the drying plate in an exponential spiral pattern. The material transitions from a small drying tray to the larger one below and moves inward, falling into the next small tray from the middle feeding port, thus flowing through the entire dryer in an alternating pattern.
The hollow drying plates are filled with heating media, such as saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, or high-temperature molten salt, entering from one end and exiting from the other. Dried material descends to the aggregate tray and is moved to the discharge port by rake blades. Moisture is expelled through the dehumidification port on the top cover, while the vacuum disc dryer extracts moisture via the vacuum port. The dried materials can be directly packaged. Adding auxiliary equipment like finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag filters, pre-dryers, and draft fans enhances drying capacity, making it suitable for drying paste-like and heat-sensitive materials, and enabling solvent recovery, heating, cooling, calcination, sublimation, pyrolysis, and reaction processes.
