The DW Series High-Efficiency Mesh Belt Dryer is an advanced continuous drying system tailored for batch production. It is specially designed for drying sheet, strip, and granular materials with excellent air permeability, making it an ideal choice for dehydrated vegetables, catalysts, and Chinese herbal pieces that possess high moisture content but cannot endure high temperatures. This series boasts swift drying speeds, high evaporation intensity, and superior product quality. For paste materials from dehydrated filter cakes, drying is efficiently achieved post-granulation or strip formation.
Principle:The material is seamlessly distributed over the mesh belt by the feeder, using 12-60 mesh stainless steel mesh. It is propelled through the drier by a driving mechanism. The drier consists of multiple units, each with independent hot air circulation. Tail gas is partially expelled via a specialized dehumidifying fan, with exhaust gas regulation facilitated by a valve to optimize heat and moisture removal. The mesh belt advances slowly, with adjustable speed settings to accommodate material temperature variations, ensuring continuous transfer of the finished product to the feeder below. The up and down cycle units offer flexible configuration based on user specifications, with unit numbers adjustable to meet precise requirements.
The material, gently placed in the hopper, is meticulously spread across the mesh belt by an efficient feeder. This mesh belt, typically crafted from 12-60 mesh stainless steel wire, gracefully glides through the dryer, driven by a robust transmission device. This sophisticated dryer is an assembly of several units, each boasting its own independent hot air cycle. A fraction of the exhaust gas is skillfully managed by a specialized dehumidifying fan, ensuring optimal performance. Within the upper circulation unit, a powerful circulating fan channels air into the unit's lower chamber via side air ducts. As air ascends through the heater, it transforms into a heated jet flow, distributed evenly by a precise distributor. This air jet traverses the mesh belt, through the material, and into the upper chamber. The drying phenomenon occurs as hot air permeates the material layer, facilitating heat and mass transfer. The interconnected upper chamber and fan inlet ensure a largely continuous gas cycle, with the cooler, moisture-laden gas being vented out through expansive exhaust pipes, control valves, and a moisture fan. The lower circulation unit works in harmony, drawing air into the upper chamber first, where it is warmed via a heat exchanger, descends through the material layer, and finally enters the lower chamber. Here, the air duct seamlessly links to the fan and return air duct, maintaining a largely cyclical flow with partial discharge. These versatile up and down loop units can be tailored to the user's specific needs, with customizable unit quantities.
This advanced drying solution is ideal for dehydrating vegetables, typically employing three integrated sets of equipment that sequentially create an initial dry section, an intermediate section, and a final dry section. At the onset of drying, materials exhibit high moisture content and limited permeability, thus necessitating a thinner material layer, accelerated running speed, and elevated drying temperature, reaching up to an impressive 120°C or more. As the process progresses to the final dry section, the material's retention time increases significantly-3 to 6 times longer than in the initial section-while the material's thickness expands 2 to 4 times. For materials requiring temperatures not exceeding 60°C, a drying gas temperature of approximately 80°C may be employed. The belt dryer's performance is significantly enhanced through a multi-stage combination, ensuring more uniform and efficient drying results.
