Overview:
Double-cone rotary vacuum drier is a kind of drying equipment which integrates mixing and vacuum drying. The process of vacuum drying is that the dried material is placed in a sealed cylinder, and the dried material is continuously heated while the vacuum system is used to pump the vacuum, so that the moisture inside the material diffuses to the surface through the pressure difference or the concentration difference, the water molecules (or other non-condensable gases) obtain enough kinetic energy on the surface of the material, after overcoming the mutual attraction between the molecules, they diffuse to the low pressure space of the vacuum chamber, and are removed by the vacuum pump to complete the separation from the solid.
Features:
- During the vacuum drying process, the pressure in the cylinder is always lower than the atmospheric pressure, the gas molecule number is small, the density is low, the oxygen content is low, therefore can dry the easy oxidation medicine, reduces the material the opportunity which infects the bacterium.
- Because moisture in the vaporization process temperature and steam pressure is proportional, so when the vacuum drying, the moisture in the material can be vaporized at low temperature to achieve low temperature drying, especially suitable for the production of heat-sensitive materials of pharmaceuticals.
- Vacuum drying can eliminate the surface hardening phenomenon, which is caused by the large pressure difference between the inside and the surface of the vacuum drying material, no surface hardening will occur.
- Because of the small temperature gradient between the inside and outside of the material during vacuum drying, the moisture can be moved and collected by itself due to reverse osmosis, thus effectively overcoming the loss phenomenon caused by hot air drying.
Principle:
The double-cone drier is a double-cone rotary tank. Under vacuum, steam or hot water is introduced into the jacket to heat the tank. The water vapor which evaporates after the wet material absorbs heat is pumped out through the vacuum exhaust pipe through the vacuum pump. Because the tank is in the vacuum state, and the rotation of the tank makes the material move up and down, inside and outside constantly, so it speeds up the drying speed of the material, improves the drying efficiency, and achieves the goal of uniform drying.
